The San Diego Padres signed SP Jon Garland to a one-year deal.

Garland is an innings-eater and will continue to do the same in the pitcher-friendly Petco Park.

Though he will pitch the entire season, Garland should not be on the minds of fantasy owners unless they are in deep leagues or NL-only leagues.

Expect 200+ innings, 4.10 ERA, 1.40 WHIP, and 100 Ks in 2010.
