Eric Byrnes is headed to Seattle after signing a one-year deal with the Seattle Mariners.

Byrnes will most likely fulfill a veteran bench role behind Ichiro Suzuki, Milton Bradley, and Franklin Gutierrez. Playing time should be sparse, at least until Bradley gets kicked off the team.

A fan favorite due to his all-or-nothing style of play, Byrnes should not be a factor in your drafts this season.
