Hudson Signs with Minnesota

The Minnesota Twins and 2B Orlando Hudson agreed to a one-year deal that gives Hudson the starting gig in the Twin Cities.

Hudson no longer provides any pop and lacks speed but he is a better option over Alexi Casilla or Nick Punto.

The Twins have imported an entirely new double-play squad for 2010 after getting J.J. Hardy from the Milwaukee Brewers.

Hudson shouldn't be a factor in most drafts this season. Deep leagues and AL-only managers will most likely see him taken in their leagues.

Expect similar numbers to last season with 80 runs, 8 HR, 60 RBI, 6 SBs, and a .280 AVG.
