FantasyJuice has been keeping tabs on this spring's hottest prospects so you don't have to.

Below is the second portion of our list of most highly touted prospects heading into the 2009 fantasy baseball season and their spring stats up to this point.

Chris Davis (3B/1B – Texas Rangers)

Talk about man-crushes. Yahoo! Sports and others crushed on Davis all last year and he proved why in his late-season call-up. Davis continued to hammer the ball this spring (21 runs, 5 HR, 13 RBI, .312 AVG) but this strike numbers will be scary in his first pro season. Still, there is no reason to fear a power hitter in the Rangers lineup.

Jordan Schafer (OF – Atlanta Braves)

Schafer joined the big league camp with an outside chance of making the major league roster. After an impressive spring (13 runs, 1 HR, 3 RBI, 5 SB, .333 AVG) he will be the starting center-fielder in Atlanta. Expect a shaky season with lots of strikeouts but he should provide plenty of speed for your team.

Jed Lowrie (SS – Boston Red Sox)

Julio Lugo is out a few weeks with injury and most Boston fans aren't sad to hear it. Lowrie will fill in while Lugo is out and attempt to secure his spot in the infield. Lowrie is impressing so far this spring (9 runs, 2 HR, 12 RBI, .338 AVG) and has 12 extra-base hits in 24 games. While he won't provide you any speed, Lowrie should give you solid numbers elsewhere. Don't be afraid to add him as a backup for your older shortstops.

Matt LaPorta (OF – Cleveland Indians)

Since coming over from the Milwaukee Brewers in the C.C. Sabathia trade, the Indians have been drooling at the power potential of LaPorta. His spring was serviceable (7 runs, 1 HR, 4 RBI, .361 AVG in 16 games). Laporta will start the season in AAA but is ready to rake in the majors. LaPorta should be added as soon as you get word of an injury in the Indians outfield.

Ian Stewart (3B/OF – Colorado Rockies)

Stewart's audition last season and this year's spring (11 runs, 4 HR, 15 RBI, 2 SB, .279 AVG) were good enough to secure a spot on the Rockies' opening day roster. Manager Clint Hurdle says Stewart will see some time at the corner outfielder spots. Don't be surprised though it Stewart sees significant time at third and second. This power hitter is ready to make an impact in the major leagues.

Andrew McCutchen (OF – Pittsburgh Pirates)

The top-ranked prospect in the Bucs' system showed he is ready for the big leagues this spring (13 runs, 2 HR, 7 RBI, 2 SB, .318 AVG, 12 BB). While he will start the season in AAA the Pirates can't last long with Craig Monroe and Eric Hinske in the outfield. McCutchen has a good mix of speed and power and could, eventually, produces numbers similar to Nate McLouth last season.

Tommy Hanson (SP – Atlanta Braves)

After being named the Arizona Fall League MVP Hanson ended up on many fantasy owner's draft sheets. He only has three years of minor league experience but showed his best stuff this spring (14.2 innings, 14 Ks, 2.45 ERA, 1.36 WHIP). The pitches are there but the Braves sent Hanson to AAA for some more seasoning.

Cameron Maybin (OF – Florida Marlins)

A top prospect since being drafted, Maybin will start for the Marlins this season. He showed some improved patience this spring while his numbers were expected (15 runs, 1 HR, 7 RBI, 2 SB, .319 AVG). Look for Maybin to have a rough first season in the majors but don't be surprised if he makes a run at the NL ROY.

Nick Adenhart (SP – Los Angeles Angels)

Adenhart looks to bounce back from his poor 2008 season which saw him start they season in the majors and quickly get booted to AAA. The Angels gave him every opportunity to prove himself this spring and he outperformed once again (26 IP, 18 Ks, 3.12 ERA, 1.15 WHIP). Adenhart could be a steal in your later rounds.

Brett Anderson / Trevor Cahill (SP – Oakland Athletics)

Both of these future studs are slated to make the Oakland starting rotation out of spring training. Anderson pitched the best of the duo (22 IP, 10 SO, 2.86 ERA, 1.19 WHIP) while Cahill showed he can pitch at the highest level (25 IP, 13 Ks, 5.40 ERA, 1.28 WHIP). Expect both pitchers to struggle this year as they haven't had much time to mature in the minors.

Jordan Zimmerman (SP – Washington Nationals)

Zimmerman is the Johnny Cueto of 2009. He outpitched his opponents in almost every start (14.1 IP, 20 Ks, 3.14 ERA, 1.05 WHIP). His excellent spring earned him a spot in the Washington starting rotation who are hoping the kid can win games. Zimmerman has never pitched above AA prior to the spring so be wary at this point. He could be a good sell high candidate after the first part of the season.
