Jose Reyes – Possible return date: April 11

Reyes will start the season on the disabled list while he tries to work back from taking time off due to his thyroid disorder.

Owners of the speedy shortstop could be tired of his injury-prone ways and may be looking to unload him. If you have a decent option at shortstop to offer in return you could grab Reyes and stash him for a week or two.

Ian Kinsler – Possible return date: mid-April

Kinsler can't seem to keep himself off the disabled list during the season. He is starting early this season which gives patient managers the ability to acquire and stash him.

He is the second best fantasy option at his position so missing a few weeks during the season won't hurt your team too much.

Carlos Beltran – Possible return date: May-ish

There are two scenarios involving Beltran in most of your leagues. Either someone drafted him because he was still leftover and had nothing left to lose, or he was drafted by a smart owner looking to stash him on the DL for the first couple months of the season.

Beltran is still an excellent fantasy option, though his aging legs may weaken his stealing ability. If a manager ended up with Beltran because of auto-pick then you may be able to acquire him for cheap and stash him on the DL.
