Matt Kemp (OF-Los Angles Dodgers) continued his hitting streak to start the season. His RBI triple in the second inning extended his hitting streak to ten games.

Kemp lowered his batting average to a putrid .371 and stole two bases in the game. He leads the team in batting average and is second in hits (13) while having six less at-bats than the team hits leader, Orlando Hudson (15).

While his fantasy significance is slightly impacted by having Casey Blake and the pitcher bat behind him, Kemp is making a case for a bump up in the batting order.

Fantasy managers should think about trading for Kemp at this point as his RBI and run production should increase when he is moved up the order. Orlando Hudson's hot start to the season is delaying Kemp's promotion.
