Hello, my name is Pablo Sandoval.

I was recently called up by the San Francisco Giants to play catcher and first base. I will be catching in place of the ancient Bengie Molina on occasion.

At only 22 years of age, I am one of the youngest catchers in the major leagues.

I started out the season in A-Advanced ball before getting called up to Double-A. The Giants realized they are out of the playoff picture and decided to give me a shot in the majors.

I had 20 home runs and 96 RBI while hitting .350 in the minors this season. In 2007, I played pretty well in A-Advanced batting .287 with 11 home runs and 52 RBI in only 102 games.

The Giants want me to play catcher but I've also spent time at 1st and 3rd in the minors.

Please keep me in mind next season, especially in keeper leagues, if Bengie gets hurt as I am a solid hitter who should contribute for the Giants next season.
