Out of nowhere, some dude for the Cleveland Indians picked up six saves since August 8th. That dude is Jensen “Action Shot” Lewis (he's one of the few players on sports.yahoo.com with a live game shot as his profile picture.)

What can we expect from Lewis in the future? He has done a stand-up job in the closer role for the Indians so far, with only one earned run in six appearances as closer.

He's been a bit sloppy in relief this year but is more accurate as a closer allowing only one walk since taking over as closer. His strikeout rate has increased as well with 9 Ks in 6 innings as closer.

While he hasn't had much experience as a closer in the majors or the minors, he has put up solid numbers while staying below a 4.00 ERA in the last two seasons.

Lewis is probably a short-term option for the Indians nearing the end of this season. Look for them to acquire a veteran reliever before the start of next season.

Lewis is a closer...for now.
