Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Vicente Padilla was accidentally shot in the leg by his target shooting instructor.

The instructor seems to have gotten the worst of it by shooting himself in the hand first. The bullet grazed off of Padilla's leg. Padilla will not need surgery.

Padilla has been nothing more than an occasional spot-starter in most fantasy leagues since his useful years in Philadelphia.
