The Los Angeles Angels agreed to a one-year deal with OF Hideki Matsui.

The Angels are looking to bat Matsui in the designated hitter role during the 2010 season. The deal spells an end to Vladimir Guerrero's career with the Angels.

Matsui isn't a young guy at 35 years of age but still has some solid pop left in his bat. He managed 28 HRs in 456 at-bats with the New York Yankees last season.

Expect 150 games, 30 HRs, and 100 RBI from Matsui next season.
