The signed free-agent catcher Gerg Zaun to a one-year deal on Friday.
Zaun will be the veteran insurance while the Orioles transition uber-prospect to the majors.
The Orioles traded last year's starting catcher,, to the Cincinatti Reds earlier in the offseason. Zaun will fill the cather void until Wieters proves himself.
Zaun should be of little fantasy significance except when he steals at-bats from Wieters.
