Varitek to Stay with Red Sox

The Boston Red Sox are anticipated to announce the resigning of catcher Jason Varitek next week.

Varitek performed poorly last season for the Red Sox but looks to bounce back in 2009.

Varitek's fantasy value has significantly declined in the last few seasons. Look for him late in the draft if you are unable to fill your catcher slot.
