Glavine Signs with the Braves
February 19, 2009
Tom Glavine has reached a one year, $1 million dollar deal with the Atlanta Braves. The 42 year-old lefty could earn as much as $4.5 million this year if he, well, plays. Glavine will make an additional $1 million for his first day on the active roster, $1.25 million for 30 days on the roster and another $1.25 million for 90 days on the roster.

Coming off surgery to his left elbow, Glavine will have minimal fantasy value. Even when he comes back from his surgery I am guessing he won't put up the numbers he did with the Braves in 2002 (18 wins, 127Ks, 2.96 ERA).
