Anderson Moving to Atlanta
February 22, 2009
The Atlanta Braves agreed to a one-year deal with outfielder Garrett Anderson on Sunday. The deal is worth $2.5 million.

Anderson joins the Braves only days after they missed on Ken Griffey Jr. The Braves hope Anderson can firm up their young outfield with his veteran bat.

After spending his entire career with the Angels organization, Anderson is taking his bat to Atlanta where he hopes he can increase his 272 career home runs, and 1292 career RBI.

Don't anticipate drafting Anderson this year in any of your leagues but keep your eye on him throughout the year. He manages to throw together decent runs so be sure to grab him when he's hot.
