Crosby Unhappy with Cabrera Signing
March 08, 2009
Bobby Crosby of the Oakland Athletics asked the team to trade him on Saturday after the signing of Orlando Cabrera.

Crosby feels he is worthy of a starting nod at shortstop this season but the Oakland brass seem to think otherwise. He batted .237 left season and below .230 the previous two seasons.

Orlando Cabrera will be a welcomed addition to the Oakland lineup as they haven't had a serviceable shortstop in many years. If Crosby isn't traded he isn't worth a look in any format.
