Parra Earns First Win Since July 20th
August 20, 2008
Manny Parra (SP - Milwaukee Brewers) earned his first win since July 20th as the Brewers defeated the Houston Astros on Wednesday.

Parra only lasted five innings while giving up six hits and four walks. It wasn't near his best stuff but it was still good enough for a win.

The Brewers are confident in his abilities so he should be in the rotation for years to come.
