Isringhausen Out For Season...Possibly Career
August 20, 2008
Jason Isringhausen (RP - St. Louis Cardinals) is out for the season, and possibly his career, after recent MRI results showed a partial tendon tear in his shoulder.

Izzy's contract expires with the Cardinals at the end of the season and he could opt to retire at his advanced age.

Most people ditched Izzy as he has come and gone from the Cardinals' closing job. Keep an eye on who gets the role at the start of next season. Chris Perez is at the top of the list.
