Brad Hennessey and the San Francisco Giants agreed to a one-year deal today to avoid arbitration.
Hennessey assumed the closer role last season and converted 19 our of 24 attempts. He had a decent 3.42 ERA in 68.1 innings pitched.
Hennessey will probably be a non-factor in most leagues during the draft as Brian Wilson looks to secure the closer role for the Giants.
If Wilson falters, Hennessey will be first in line to pick up saves.
